Seconds Club began in New Zealand with a simple belief: beautiful designer pieces shouldn't be out of reach, and they shouldn't be loved once and then forgotten.
Second-hand makes luxury more accessible. It opens the door to iconic bags at a fraction of retail, and often to pieces you can't even buy new anymore. Every one of them still has years of life ahead, and someone out there who would adore carrying it. Our whole reason for being is to connect the two.

To find the best pieces, we go straight to the source: Japan, the most respected second-hand luxury market in the world. Through licensed auction houses and boutiques, we hand-select rare, pre-loved designer handbags: pieces kept in extraordinary condition, meticulously graded, and traded within one of the most tightly regulated resale systems anywhere.
Every trip is a curation. We're not clearing warehouses. We're choosing the bags we'd carry ourselves.

Hi, I'm Ash, the founder of Seconds Club.
I've been drawn to luxury for as long as I can remember. I still think about being eleven years old, walking into the Louis Vuitton in Christchurch and wanting every single piece in the room. That feeling never really left me.
Years later, when I discovered just how large and how loved the second-hand market is in Japan, it all clicked. I took that early curiosity and turned it into something real, and Seconds Club was born a little under two years ago.
Sourcing is still my favourite part. Whether I'm on a buying trip in Japan or working with our trusted partners, I feel a genuine tie to every bag we bring home, and I adore every piece we list. When one sells, it's honestly an amazing feeling, knowing it's off to a second home where it will be appreciated and given a whole new life.
